At Walkro in Maasmechelen, everything revolves around production. Literally. We make grown substrate for mushroom growers and our machines have to keep running. If something isn't running? Then you're the one who gets it running again.
We are looking for a maintenance technician/mechanic who deals with breakdowns, performs preventive maintenance and thinks about how we can do things smarter. You work independently, but never alone. Because with us, there is always a colleague ready with a second pair of eyes or a clever trick that works.
This is what you bring
Technology is in your fingers. You have experience with mechanics and/or welding, you think analytically and you prefer to solve problems rather than passing them on. You are responsible and willing to learn - because technology keeps evolving and so do we.
Experience in an industrial environment is nice, but not necessarily necessary. If you are skilled and want to grow, we will teach you the rest.
You have driving licence B and you speak good Dutch (because we need to be able to understand each other when things get exciting).
